My thoughts are with you all at such a difficult time. Your lovely wife and Mum, Gloria, looked after me when her cousin, my mum, Eileen passed, that kindness will never be forgotten. More than that and ever since she kept in contact and helped make sure i knew part of my family history, the Gibraltarian Balestrino part of my ancestry. That knowledge and culture has been passed on to my son Harry. I hope one day he will pass it on to his own family. The pain when we lose a loved one is intense, almost overwhelming. Whilst it never completely leaves us my experience is that bit by bit it gets replaced by the happy memories of the warm and loving person and that is what we carry with us forever and those memories helps makes us who we are and we pass that on. I hope that you all will find that same path when the time is right, for each of you. All our love from your family in Brighton to you all. xx
